NY hunting tag question?
 

When small game or coyote hunting should you have your back tag on or just have your liscence with you? Never hunted small game so not sure. Thanks

any time you are hunting in new york state you must display your back tag

Err nope.. Only in the southern zone. Us northern zone hunters are special.. no back tags

sorry I keep forgetting that the northern zone has it's own laws I guess that it would be too easy for the dec to have the same laws statewide

I hunt in both zones,lived in NY all my life,hunted for over 40 years.I don't understand it either.
