This is the original color pic.
I did zoom in a bit when I scanned it.

good job on pictures, that was great.i hope all now believe that sproulman tells you nothing but truth.what i am wondering is if this is same cougar i saw in 1993 when he was young cougar.i say he was about 45 pounds then.notice that orangeish color that i reported seeing on him too at that time.i have not been to that area in over 10 years or so.this is clearfield/clinton county in state of pa.some estimate he is well over 100 pds or so.sighting are being seen in other areas here in lycoming, centre, potter, clinton, clearfield countys that i am aware of. i think more of this will be happening as these trail cameras are getting cheaper. i want one also.

Nice game camera placementThe correlation between the vegetation type, and height are odd.

Sure looks like a cougar. Why is the newpaper caption "Big Cat" followed by a question mark?

I agree - Looks like rhodadendron to me too. leaves look to big to be laurel. but I know it grows in a similar matter to what is showing in the pic - kind of depends on the angle of the camera though.

Definately a mt lion though. Looks exactly like the ones in the pics that my uncle sent me from Idaho.
