Deer rutting in NY?

Has anyone been afield in southeastern NY? Any sign of rutting activity yet?

I'll be up in Sullivan conuty next weekend, and I'm psyched about being in there for peak rut conditions (I hope)

I have seen some rubs but nothing in the way of scrapes yet. With all the leaves still on the trees down here a buck could have been chasing does 60 yards from me and I would not have known it. LET THERE BE FROST.

I hunt Chenango & Broome Co. and haven't seen a scrape or rub or any buck with does (or many deer for that matter - except coming and going from my camp - 15-30 every time!!!)
I agree with above that there seem to be a lot of leaves hanging around.
