That does beg the question of why an officer would "walk" two hundred yards thru someone's property if they just want to question them.

Doesn't sound good for the defendant though[:@]

I agree with both statements. I can't believe any GW would walk 600 ft up a driveway just to ask some questions. He obviously did his search and then went to ask questions. Also, they found the guts 400 yards away? I suppose that was part of his "walk" as well.

What leads me to believe thelandowner was probablyguilty is the other corn feeder etc. If this is all true, he's also guilty of being rather stupid as well.

Sounds like the GW followed the law, I just think the law should have made him take the extra step of getting a warrant.
