Filled three tags. Eight point on the second Thursday of rifle season and two does, also during rifle season. All three were hog fat.
Didn't see as many deer as last season, but that was what I expected.

Default Best Year of my hunting career! (but does'nt reflect how the woods were.)

I had the best Hunting ever!!! I hunted almost every day of archery and rifle season. I saw next to nothing except what I shot. My success is by no mean a true reflection of howlow the deer encounters were.(HORRIBLE, PITIFUL, etc...)
All my trophys were taken in the Extended Bear and rifle season.
1 Bear in extended bear season (1st day ofbuck/extended bear)

1 Large 5 yr old 8-point buck in rifle (last day of rifle)
1 Large 6yr old buck that lost its horns a week or so earlier and had to be tagged a doe (last day of rifle).

(see pic!)

ORIGINAL: rybohunter

I shot 6 deer, 5 does, and a 12 pt. 3 in 2D, 3 in 2B. 4 with a bow, 2 with a handgun during regular gun season. Some days I saw a lot of deer, some days I didn't see any.
not to start anything or nothingtoward rybohunter but can anyone else see maybe why no one is seeing deer this year with all of the bonus tags it is not hard to see where the deer have gone what ever happened to the ole` days of one buck or doe per year you remember folks two weeks for buck and three days for doe i stomped all over the clearfield area to see 3 deer. 5 years ago it was a different story. i feel that this time of "if it is brown it is down" thinking will have all of us going to another state to hunt. (rant done stepping of of my soap box thanks)

2.5yr old buck - 7 scoreable points 12 1/8th inch spread
Killed in WMU- 1A
Weapon: .308 Winchester
# of Deer-5

3 for Me, all of which were killed in State Parks. Overall i saw less deer in general, however i saw an enourmous amount of bigger bucks which is fine by me. I didn't keep an exact count throughout the whole season except the days i shot deer. Overall, i would guess around 25-35 doe(which is down from about 50-60 from last season) and 15 different bucks including the one i shot the first day of rifle. It was a banner year for larger bucks, as i saw three bucks during archery that im sure would make Pope and Young with 2 others that would have been very close.
