My 2005 PA buck
 

I shot this on the frist day on SGL's. its not what i was looking for but im proud to get him. 7pt 17" inside spread. the cool thing is i shot a buck that looks just like this one 14 years ago in the same area. it must have been his great great great great grandfather. lol

thanks everyone... Pa Trophy Man- well yeah i think i do have some old pics of it somewhere. but i still have the horns and i put them up to this one, and wow the one from 14yrs ago is 1 1/2" smaller spread and has two points broken also but not the same points. but they are so alike. its pretty cool that i have that. genes from years back pretty cool.

rybohunter- well for the last 7 years ive been after a wallhanger. so ive passed up some pretty nice bucks like this one in hoping to get that big daddy, but i tell you what after 7 years the finger was getting pretty ichey and w/ this buck coming out of the fog like it did it was a great hunt and also not seeing many deer at all this year i thought i would take the shot. and im glad i did. maybe next year ill get that wallhanger

Nice buck, congratulations. Your right, you can't give up because you never know and that's what gets me out of bed every morning in archery season.


But the photo, dude....sorry I'm a quality photo buff...like the post at the top of the archery forum....pictures can and will make a hunt memorable....not being critical because again, congratulations on a fine trophy....way to go.

lol yeah thats not the best pic. i should have better ones on another film. but you are right a good pic goes a long way.
my goal next year is to get one w/ a bow, ive never done it yet. only hunted 4yrs w/ one so far but for some reason im the worst bowhunter in the state. lol
