Would you do the same in NJ??
 

Had a father and son team each shoot 2 bucks on the club property. The first two were in the AM. Brought to a check station and then tagged. They each go back out in the afternoon and shoot another two dinkers. We took a total of 7 bucks with 1 nice 7pt and the rest scraps. I personally passed a small spiker. 100% legal but give me break as it would be nice to have some decent bucks around for a change.

I know a bunch of guys with the numbers mentality. Drives me nuts. If I was making the game rules there would be an antler restriction for the whole state. And it wouldn't be 3 on one side either!

Iagree, i cant stand seeing people doing drives by my house coming out of the woods with a bunch of scrubbers. seems to me like they shoot anything moving. My personal opinion is that the people like that are what makes the deer so small around here. i just get so agravated when thery do this crap it doenst make sence to me but thers nuthing you can really do. i wish they passed some sort of restrictions atleast 3 points on one side would make a crap load of a difference. this is pretty much the whole reason i dont go out shotgun season

i didnt think you could take more than 2 bucks during the shotgun season? as far as taking the scrappy bucks i feel the same way but just remember there are some who dont hunt but a couple days out of the year and for them its just meat. i wish they would take a doe but if its legal im happy. my younger brother got his first deer ever this year during the archery season and it was a 1 pointer. it made his day as well as mine. he goes to college and works 2 jobs and is in a rock band so time is tight for him.

I wish they would do away with deer driving all together. But thats for another post. I don't mind so much taht someone shoots a small bauck, but did those guys need to go out and sghoot 2 more? I think the clubs only care about how many deer they can hang. its a shame. I wish they would go to 1 buck during shotgun season, save a few of the bucks.

Hi Guy,s on are club this is our fourth year of 6pt or better and it,s working three deer 3 1/2 yr. 11pt with 4" drop tine 9pt with 21" sp. 8pt 10" tine,s we can kill all the doe,s we whant.
