RE: big game minumum caliber
It's been any centerfire rifle forat leasta few years now. I know a few people that hunt with .22-250's.

RE: big game minumum caliber
i have a heavy barrel 220 swift , that will shoot nickles at 100 yards , but id dont think id ever use it where i hunt the shots are less then a 100 yards mostly and you dont ever seem to have the time to wait and check aim for 20 seconds ,to ensure a micro scopic kill zone instant drop in your tracks kill, my 7mm 08 works beautiful and i havent missed a kill zone yet
