only saw one buck during rifle season....but seen 4 different ones the week before while bowhunting............always see doe and turkey........

I ended up taking a doe

I REALLY REALLY wish we would go to a statewide 1 buck limit!!!!

me too, and it should be limited to 6 points or more!

i disagree on the point limit if we have a 1 buck limit.................

why?

because if you can only kill 1 buck per year most people will wait for a good mature buck unless they are a young or new hunter who hasnt killed a buck before or atleast not very many.....

we would get teh "meat" with the 3 doe limit to go along with the buck limit

I see yer down 19 off of 79.... I may have driven thru there, but now will certainly make a swing down that way. I've taken 19 before, but iit's been ions ago... I'm going from memory here... but isn't Anstead near 19? ....didn't I catch 19 from there to the lake up north... Summersville? ...can't recall... I know the folks were nice as they can be... likemy home USED to be.
Have a Merry Christmas down that way...callin' for 10" of snow tonite... may have a white one after all!!!!

yep Anstead is near 19.....im about 15 miles north of the anstead exit in Summersville............ Summersville Lake is a big summer time attraction for people all around....espeacially with the beginning of the Gauley River there as well for rafting

Some good camping, boating, fishin', even some rock jumpin' at Summersville. We always go up on Memorial Day weekend, good times.
