Haven't tried them out but I hear nothing but good things about UnderArmor. I plan on eventually getting myself some too.

Under Armour Cold Gear - get the anti-microbial stuff (Armourblock), and it helps control your scent as well. I bought the whole set this year, and it was the best $100 I ever spent on gear.

Super warm, very durable, and helps your "Protect this House," should such a situation arise.

Should be great for skiing and other random cold-weather activities, as well.

I was gonna buy the under armour stuff but noticed Mossy Oak has their own version that has the "microbe stuff" scent control and it was about $40 cheaper for the set than UA. I have used it all season, in the early season when it was hot I would wear the shirt all by it self (kinda made me look buff like Ray Lewis:D) and in the cooler months it has a warming effect. Also the one thing I like about it the arms on the shirt have a thumbhole so you can hook you thumb in it and put your other shirts on overtop and the sleeve doesnt creep up your arm.

I think its called APX gear

I use the UnderArmour stuff as well, but mainly because I have a hookup. Whether I've used it while riding my motorcycle in the colder months or on the treestand, its done a great job in keeping me warm.

Mossy, it would take a heck of a lot more than just a shirt to make you look buff!!!!;);) Here is another vote for Under Armour, bought mine a couple years ago and havnt looked back. Keeps you warm and most importantly keeps you dry which is the key to staying warm. A buddy of mine got the Cabelas version and loves it as well, so you may be able to find a cheaper alternative to UA that works just as good.

Patagonia

Base layer is the lightweight underwear, top and bottom. On top of that is the Patagonia Expedition weight. I have been wearing and buying this combination for the past 15 years and I rarely get cold. Toasty warm in most any conditions.
