my buck/doe sightings have been almost 60/40 this season (6o% does and 40% bucks). I shot adecent2 1/2 yesterday and he was exhibiting competitive behavior that was unheard of in PA just 5-10 years ago.
He was wild eyed, and snort wheezing and just plain full of attitude. He also had several antler wounds indicating a serious fight or two.

Their mouths are full of crow feathers. They're trying to fly under the radar for a while, until the rest of us forget about the river of tears that they shed when they were crying about these voodoo antler laws.
AR's are working great, as predicted. Still some areas up north with low deer density, but that problem will be self-correcting. Pretty good everywhere - better b/d ratio, better racks, etc. It's still no Sasketchewan, but pretty good, considering.
