I dont care what it is.. deer, moose, bear etc..

I have two doe. Hit one buck and lost it and missed another one.

I put a fat mature doe in the freezer last night........passed a couple decent ones early when it was warm, but now that it's cooler I figured I'd take one out before the rut gets any closer.
I'll shoot one more tomorrow if I can and then probably hold off on does until late season. (I have 2 more antlerless tags)
The buck sign is really picking up in my one area.

So far 6 white tails 5 doe's, 1 buck anice 4 point. all shot with a muzzle loader.Shot the buck at 180 yd's he droped in his tracks.

Hit one buck....he jumped the string and i hit him above the spine. Tracked him for about 3/4 mile, but he never went down....so he's still out there alive somewhere.

My most proudest numbers though...
-Have seen 4 bucks so far this season...most ever.
-And every deer I have seen, has been within shooting range at one time or another.Thats about 15 deer so far.:D

No shot yet. Only went out on opening day so far. I'll be out with the muzzle loader tomorrow so weather permitting.....

Missed a buck with the bow opening day, got a doe lastnight with the muzzleloader. I lovemy newred dot.

I have been pretty picky and haven't shot anything yet. I have seen several 1 1/2 year and 2 1/2 year bucks, as well as several does and skippers. I hope to get a good crack at one next weekend in NY, or the week of 11/5 I have off to spend in PA hunting the rut.
