My nephews VT moose
 

Well, This is one happy 14 year old. It was 731lb and had a 42"
spread. He shot it 2 miles on top of a mountain. It took us 5 hours
to get it out with my tractor. My dad is in the pic. with him.

My father and I start our hunt on sat. We have a cow tag and
I am going to try to take it with my bow. If not he will take it with
the rifle. It will be alot of fun to be hunting with my dad. It is his
tag I am the 2nd shooter, but he really wants me to take it with the bow.
Moose is the only big game I have left in VT to take with a bow so here
goes.

Nice moose!!! Where did he take it? I saw a big one come out of Woodford in Southern Vermont, the spread taped out just short of 51". I keep hoping my name gets picked, I regularly see moose out deer hunting, can't wait to put a tag on one.

Mike, He got it on Stanard mountain in D2. We were up in Newark
today. Saw a couple of cows. We have one about 400lb I am going
to try for in the morning with the bow. Here goes......

I used to camp up in Newark allot. Theres some nice moose around there. A few weeks back we where up in the Norton area of VT and saw a nice bull and a few cows. VT's moose population keeps growing...
