I got 8h, figured I would, so I also added 9P for his sake. I got turned down for that as well.

i was able to draw a tag for 7j but was turned down for 7h.......... looks like that will be saved for blackpowder

1st choice - 7J - probability high - got turned down!
2nd - 7H - high - received.

So you and your Dad had zero chance to score 9P with your second. You threw them away.

Ohhhhhhhh.... 8W and 8T hunter here - probability is low in both WMU's. I dont understand why at all. I passed on 15 or so does last year before finally taking a big ole slut in the last week of the season. Cant plant flowers around the house and the Yew bushes are munched bald up to 5 feet. 8 or 10 get whacked a year by cars on Telegraph road within a mile of the house. I was pulling two tags in this zone for the past 5 years. what is going on??

Got my 2 DMP's 1st for 8H 2nd for archery only 8C,my wife also got 2 both in 8H.The nice part of the 8C tag is if you fill it and bring in the head to the DEC they will issue you a either sex tag

im thinkin im gonna go tomorrow, Try and draw a tag for 7J and 7H...since 6k is a no no and 7F is a no no on seconds.....wish me luck.

MD - there are no 2nd tags for 7J either - use it for your 1st choice.

I got 7f and 8f firsttime I recieved two dmp's.

Does CWD make you nervous in that area, close to Oneida County. My nephew goes to Cazenovia college and hunts in the area also. How about any other hunters out there?
