Percussion, .50 cal.
Purchased this at an estate auction last year. Pretty confident I put the first PRB's down the barrel.
Great little gun & like any CVA, it shoots exactly where you point it!
Fixed rear & brass front blade sights, clean, great bore, cosmetically nice. Basically, it's still new.
I will get some pics up, but you all know what these look like.
With premium I probably over- paid $145, will sell for $100 plus actual shipping. Thinning the herd, so to speak.
Interesting trades considered.

Please note- plastic buttplate is not cracked or broken at all but has some sort of finish or film on it which is , blemish in finish on left side of stock.
I think this Plainsman was either a wallhanger or spent quite some time in the rack as the marks seem more age related than those typical of handling. Also, when purchased the bore & especially breech end looked brand new.
Properly cleaned & stored after I shot it.
This is just a solid, simple, point & shoot muzzleloader.
