Using sabots with Mossberg conversion barrel
 

I own a Mossberg model 500 that came with a muzzleloader barrel. Anyone have thoughts (good or bad) about using sabot(s) with this barrel? Also, using Pyrodex pellets I have noticed a few times that it seems that when the primer fires it sounds more likeit's shooting at 20 - 30 grains instead of 100. Everything is stored in airtight containers until the next hunting season. I'm currently using Buffalo 50 cal bullets.
