muzzleloading accessories
I just purchased my first muzzleloader and was looking to purchase a ball starter, powder flask, and a clear measure. If you have an extra one of any of the three I'd love to talk to you about it. I don't have much of a budget so I thought I'd go after some used stuff first.
I'm also in the market for some round balls so if you can help there please speak up! Thanks guys. |

.50 cal
I found a box of 100 for 9 dollars in a store in my girlfriend's town. I think I"ll get her to get them for me to save shipping unless you can do me better? Thanks a ton either way, though. |

That sounds pretty good. Id bet shipping alone would be near $9.
Have fun w/ the new smokepole! |

I should mention that I am having the hardest time finding #11 primers for some reason. All anybody has, if they have them, seems to be 209. I found some at bass pro and cabelas but there was something about a 20 dollar shipping charge for the explosive nature.
I'll get 'em one way or another. |
RE: muzzleloading accessories
I got some at walmart a couple yrs ago. Problem is your looking post season and theyve dumped a lot of the muzzy stuff.
You might still ask at the sporting goods desk. they may have some under the counter. The thing w/ a 209 is its a shotgun primer and a lot of guys reload shotshells so its a popular thing. Are there no small guys around w/ sporting good stores? |
RE: muzzleloading accessories
dang man, you're probably right. we still have two more weeks comin up in january though! argh!
I haven't had a chance to check the small guys yet, they were all closed when i made my rounds thursday. They're supposed to be open tomorrow, though. I'll check them. |
