Hunting partner

Looking for hunting partner, My son was my hunting buddy and he graduated college this spring and started a new job and has limited time. I have property in Illinois near Springfield and in Henderson county.

Man if you weren't so far I'd be more than happy to hunt with you. I've hunted public land for most of my 55+ years and I've been fortunate enough to get deer almost every year sans maybe 4 or 5. Most of the time I get multiple deer. Most of my hunting is done with archery gear and muzzleloader.

Yeah that was my 1st impression, too.
But I'm far to the south of both of y'all.
I could offer some differing thoughts, if either want to PM stories.
My experience is with mostly with rifles and private land.

I'm in the same boat as the OP. I'm in Pa and my uncle who was always my hunting partner is too old to get into the woods anymore.

I work in Springfield. Would be interested in meeting to see if we have the same interests.
