Default Midget freak...

A recent post in a different site about a buck with no antlers reminded me of a Crazy buck I shot a long long time ago in S.E. Wisconsin. I was waliking through a feild just before dark with my bow. I see this deer at a scrape stairing at me so I stop. It was getting dusky and foggy, it was hard to see but it looked tiny like a fawn but seemed to have a big neck in comparason to body size. Suddenly it started running right at me. I thought it was a doe and decided I would take it if it gave me a shot. as it got real close, i drew the bow and shot it about 10 yards in front of me. I aimed right down the neck beside its head. The deer slammed into my leg knocking me over.
Then just kept running past me and then colapsed. I was kinda freaked out about the whole thing. I get over to the deer and could not beleive my eyes It appeared to be a mature buck with mini antlers that curled down and around like a ram. the buck was a midget. So small I picked it up and carried it to the truck.
Worse part was I had to burn a buck tag on it.

Buk, did you have him mounted? Will make a great conversation mount.
Hope he did'nt breed any does. He needs to be DNA tested. He could have
passed his genes in your area. Bad for your deer herd!

The rack is at a freinds house who is a taxidermist, he is going to try and find a way to do a mount. They just don't make "Midget FREAK" forms. The nose was real short and pudgy, and everything about it was out of normal shape... So it would be hard to replicate.

Shoot a predator and have it mounted in it's mouth.

I love how the hair on his front shoulders and chest is soaking wet, but his neck and head are bone dry. It goes from wet to dry immediately, and the blood splotch get's cut off at the wet/dry line too.

No doubt about it, that's one of the worst Photoshop jobs I've ever seen.
