Hawins, Rusk County Wisconsin

My uncle bought some land 2 years ago and we are going up the 2nd weekend in May to make treestands 1/2 mile southwest of Hawkins but we are going fishing too, we have the south main fork i think that goes through his land for trout but I have heard of Hawkins millpond but what other lakes are nearby? Thanks

Hey, My family is from that area (Lublin) and we have a place on the Holcombe Flowage. Good Musky, Northern, Walleye, Crappie, and Smallmouth fishing. Main creek flows into the flowage on the north end which is where are place is and where I do most of my fishing. I've never fished for trout there, but have caught some really nice smallies and walleyes up the creek. I know a few spots if you're interested. I'll probably be up there opening w/e as well.
