Hog/Wild Boar hunting in Wisconsin

Can anyone tell me the closest place to go and shoot one of these during the off season? There has to be a canned hunt for these somewhere in Wisconsin?

The DNR says that they are having problems with feral pigs up by Viroqua. Maybe there are folks up there who want them off their land....

Canned hunts were outlawed in Wisc. you can only hunt deer, elk and pheasants on those type of hunts. There is a good ranch in the UP of michigan for boars, if you really want to hunt them that way. Also, most of the elk ranchs in wisc. are closeing down and selling elk hunts cheap. A local farmer recently told me he was selling his cow elk for $200. each and small 6x6 bulls for $500. I am not into that kind of hunting, so I did not pay much attention.

i dont look at canned hunts as actuall hunting, i think of it as more like paying a couple hundred to go get some lunch. thats not saying i'd want to though. much funner to go out and get lunch the old fashioned way, IMO :D
