Dose anyone know o any 3-D archery contest for young people?
I'm 15 and want to start shooting 3-D contest.

what archery shop do you go to? I go to Two Bears Archery in Springfield, and we shoot an indoor league every tuesday, I try to make it there as much as possible. And im in the Menard County Archery club, and we have an 80 acre 3D range that we have shoots at. its not really for any prize, just for fun, you should come out sometime. www.menardarchers.com

You will find 3D Archery clubs in the Springfield, Jacksonville, Rushville, Decatur, Peoria, Leroy, Urbana Areas ETC just ask around with other 3D Shooters and they can share with you all kinds of good shoots to go to and Two Bears would be a great place to start asking........ Now if you are interested in shooting ASA ( Archery Shooters Association ) 3D Competion Tournaments you can look at the Archery Shooters Association Website for further info ... Illinois Currently has 11 ASA Clubs and the # of ASA Clubs in Illinois is rising every year.
We the East Central Illinois Archers in Urbana Illinois will be hosting an ASA Illinois State Qualifier in May and we will be hosting the ASA Illinois State Championship in July........... both these 3D shoots will include Young Adult Competition so you will find some good competition at these shoots... I know of several young men that will be shooting in this class at these shoots.
The ASA Will also be holding the ASA Illinois Mathews Solocam PRO/AM in Metropolis Illinois in June... You shoot for Plaques and Cash Payback and this is a awasome shoot you can get 4 days of non stop 3D competions at this event with the Town 3D Shoot, Known Distance 3D Competition, Practice 3D Shoot, Team 3D Shoot and the Pro/Am 3D Shoot as well as the Long Distance 3D Shoot.
The Qualifier will be awarding Plaques to class winners and the State Championship will be awarding Plaques and Cash Paybacks.
You may also want to look at the IBO ( International Bowhunting Organization ) website and can find a link to their forum on this Huntingnet.com website... they host many 3D Shoots on the State , National and World Level.... IBO Triple Crown National Shoot will be in Bedford Indiana in May.... A great shoot if it dosent rain....... but it almost always rains at this shoot every year
