Default Question about rattling

For all those Michigan gun hunters out there, how many of you have tried rattling during the gun season?

I've given some thought to trying it this season, but I wanted to see if it was worth my time and effort.

If so, what technique works the best?

Thanks,
Mike

Default RE: Question about rattling

I have never had any luck rattling during gun season let alone bow season. Doesn't mean you won't, i just haven't had any luck.

Rattling is more of a late Pre rut tactic I would use. I think it has a lot to do with Buck doe Ratio's - since in MI that number is high your odd's of any luck are minimal at best - especially during all the activity of firearm season.

I would try a grunt call if anyting.
