Has anyone found sheds in Michigan yet??
I found a pair of huge sheds. It was a brute 9 point. (5 on one, 4 on the other) But I thought it would be impossible for it to already be drops in Mid-lower michigan?? I couldn't believe it but there was no snow on the ground so they could have been last years?? They have a few very small chew marks in them and seem to be very dried out and a little faded.. Any thoughts? Thanks - Buckhunter14

The sheds you found were from last year or older. I've found hundreds in the UP and they wouldn't be faded already from this year. They also don't get chewed nearly as much as people think. That chewing thing is a wives tale for the most part, they normally get covered by debris within a year and that's why most are never found. I've found some that were several years old and were barely chewed, if at all. But it definitely takes many months for them to fade and dry out. Also, the deer in your area normally lose their antlers later.
