Sheds don't get chewed up that much....yea right. Well you obviously must not have any squirrels, chipmunks, mice, porcupines, coyotes, or rabbits where you live then. And they can find them no problem....they have an odor which to the above listed animals is like a dinner bell smell. I have seen em chewed on within days of them falling off. It's very rare to find a horn past may that has not been chewed up at least a bit. Heck, one of the ways I find em is by following porky tracks...they all lead to a horn.
