wild boar

Has anyone hunted wild boar in either wisconsin or upper michigan? I am coming down with a bad case of cabin fever and need to find a way to get back out in the woods.

I have Bowhunted hogs for several years now in the off season-I am headed out for 3 Bowhunts in March, April b/4 our Turkey season. Three I have hunted -Shiloh Bowhunting, Stonewall, Ok., Sweetwater Creek Bowhunting, Decater, Tx, & Coal Creek Farm, Inc., Paris, Il.
I assume since you mention Ws & Mi. you live in midwest so Coal creek(last Ph#s were 217-275-3516 & 217-202-9863) would be closest for you. It is a small operation with an excellent strain of Russian Hog (Mean ones). It is stand or spot & stalk. It is a fun time & Pat (the owner) is a great guy. All these places have web sites

Thanks for the info. I will have to check into that place. Is there much of a population of wild pigs in the UP?
