MI Doe permits

Todays the day we find out who can take a doe and who can't. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm very excited. I don't know what it is, but this is like Christmas morning and I'm five years old again. Anyone else feel the same?

Thanks,
Mike

I think you must be refering to "state land" permits correct?
I didn't put in for one of those this year - However I can relate to your excitement - I know when I went on-line to check the bear drawing results, I was a BIT excited.
Hope you get one Mike!

Yeah, I'm talking about the "state land" permit. I still haven't found out if I'm going to have the chance to hunt on private land yet. I'm waiting for my brother in law to talk to the land owner and I figured I'd play it safe and put in for a public land doe permit. Better safe than sorry.

Thanks,
Mike

RE: MI Doe permits

Congrats! I got mine too and it looks like everyone else in my deer camp got one, with the exception of my brother in law. This is my second year in a row that I got one. Has the DNR always been this liberal with issuing doe permits? Just curious.

Thanks,
Mike
