Mobow - sounds like you had a pretty bad fall! hope your better for the season, i know how that painting is, me my dad and my brothers have put over 50 gallons of primer on are house, and thats only 3/4 of the house. He decided to do it are selves, sense the last painters screwed us over, and there paint job lasted a little over a year.

what type of portable blind are you using Mo?

Did some scouting Monday, saw some deer, and a gametrakker by a watering hole. Waved for the camera. Saw a 10pt at Longview Farms in Lees Summit yesterday and a doe herd this morning in front of my car. Need to go put stands at the places we have spotted.

Sorry to here about that MoBow. Make sure that shoulder is really solid before practicing too much, don't want to tear it up right before season gets started. My left has torn cartiledge in it and I am always careful of it when practicing alot. We should be at the place we hunt in lone jack the 15th (or 22d), well some sunday afternoon, setting up stands so if you need help let me know.

MoBow, I'll send you an email a couple of days before we buzz out there. Its right after the weigh station on the left, coming out of town on 50. We will always get to hunt at Longview as long as we don't cause too much trouble <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>. My friends pulled a few from there last year, but no bucks. One windy cold night we saw over 50 that my bro had stirred up but they was too far into the park and I had no idea where he was. I never have seen a buck there - but have saw at least a 100 does there last year from the main stand. Probably too traveled by people.

I have been practicing so I don't miss again, had a few cases of target panic last year, forgetting which pin to use, and too dark for a peep site. Choke! Well this will be my second full season so I plan to make up for last year. Got a no peep, B&B recommended against it, but I am tired of not seeing thru the peep in the deep woods about 15 minutes after sun down. Let 2 go last year.
