RE: Has anyone seen a black bear in ohio?

In the late 90's I saw one in downtown Zanesville(Muskingum County) while I was returning from a squad run. They caught the bear and released it in PA. A couple of years ago a man killed one in southeast ohio, I was thinking that it was southern Perry or Morgan county. A cub was found dead, hit by a car on ST RT 93 in the late 80's or early 90's near the musk/perry county line.
