KS tags
 

I moved to KS before archery season this year and was able to get my archery tag and hunt this season. Would I have also been able to buy a rifle tag and hunt during the rifle season? I have heard two different stories. One person said I could only buy one tag either archery or rifle but another person said I could buy both. I would like to be able to hunt during rifle season in order to extend my season.

Check the Kansas Dept of Game and Fish web site www.kdwp.state.ks.us It should tell you. Hunted southwest of Emporia last year and took a massive 10pt with a drop tine. Great hunt!!

That is a big negative on "antlered" tags. In, Kansas you only get 1 antlered tag. You can get more "game tags" and "anterless whitetale doe only" tags after you have 1 antlered tag. The cheaper tags are NOT good on KDWP lands they go for about twelve bucks.
