......being sold over the counter next season due to all the uproar over one day sell out. Is this true....a friend of mine hunted there this year and his outfitter told him this was going to happen, according to his sources, who ever they are.[&:]

It probably depends on the outcome of a federal lawsuit filed by a group of outfitters operating in Illinois. They are challenging the DNR's right to place caps on non-resident tags. Its very similiar to what the United States Outfitters did in Arizona.[:'(]

cougar mag is right but I don't think you will see the flood gates open or over the counter permits for non residents but I believe there will be more for them to buy.
