Hunting Burlington, KS

This is my first time hunting in Kansas and I was wondering if anyone know how good or bad it was. I'm hunting in Burlington ks. I was wondering if anyone had any input on the Duck, Deer and Turkey. Or just any tips thanks

I've hunted in alot of great midwestern states- Kansas is by far the best. In the fall I typically rotate between bowhuntung and duck huntung. Your success really depends on what kind of ground you have to hunt. Tips- don't always go to the "big woods" for deer in KS; nicest bucks I'v eseen & shot have been in pretty open areas. Good luck!

Kansas is an outstanding place to hunt! Which direction from Burlington will you be? I grew up NE of there, about 9 miles. Turkeys are VERY plentiful, deer don't get any bigger, and duck hunting can be fabulous. It's very easy to obtain permission to hunt private land there, also. For ducks, try just outside of a small town called Hartford, a little WNW of Burlington. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask if you have any further questions. Be glad to help.
