Rob--How did you guys do? My buddy in Carroll shot a 130 class 9pt on the 2nd day and another guy shot a big 10pt that scores around 140 early on Sat--both were following does!

I didnt make it out but will be hunting my home lease this week with the blackpowder.

My 14 year old son shot 2 bucks opening morning and was done hunting by 7:30 AM A small 4 pt he should have let walk and a nice 6 pt. My brother shot a doe and a decent 6 pt also. The farm next to us took a big 10 pt that will score at +160.
Going out this weekend but will only shoot a trophy. As usual I saw at least 10 deer a day but no wall hangers so I did not fire. I did kill 2 coyotes that were chasing fawns that I am sure lost their moms. Hope I can tell you I got a wall hanger next week.

I didn't make it back for deer season because I go to school in Nebraska, but my uncle pete's group who hunts in Jo Daviess by Scales Mound got 4 bucks a wallhanger 8 and 9 point, and two smaller 9 and 7 points.
