Hey guys... Im from cleveland and I'll pretty much be hunting Ashtabula and a little bit of Geauga...Opening day had a buck at like 12 yds.. but he looked like he was on a chase so no shot...plus seen 2 other does walkin back 2 the cabin...Good Luck!

I hunt in the Bellbrook/Sugarcreek area. I planted a biologic field earlier this year with Clover Plus and Maximum and it has worked excellent. I have been out 3 times and each time I have seen 10+ deer, but all the bucks I've seen are young (1.5 to 2.5 years old). So no shooters yet.

sounds like your out by old man petersons place the little creek on little sugercreek has some nice bucks that run thru there the big bucks are starting to look for does my budy seen a monster last night in highland county had his nose to the ground just waslking along

Yeah, I am not far from their. About 2 miles from little sugarcreek rd. On Monday night I had a bachler group of bucks come into my biologic stand. One of them was pretty nice but he only had 8 points and his brow tines weren't big enough, but he had like a 18" spread and tall G2 and G3 tines about a 120 class buck. That is the best I have seen this year. I have a field cam and have a picture of the same deer too. I also saw a 2.5 year old buck that was 9 points and one of which was a kicker point out of his left side.

I am from Marion county as well. I now live in Morrow county. I do most of my hunting in Delaware county. Though, this year I will spend some time down in Athens and Hocking counties hunting the Wayne National Forest. I got a doe Sunday evening at 25 yards. Meat in the freezer! Woohoo!
