Public land in Missouri???

I'm thinking about a trip to MO this coming fall. Looking at the Northeast section of the state, Pike County, Macon, Lewis, etc. Any suggestions from any of the MO guys about some good public bowhunting.... Thanks

RE: Public land in Missouri???

I too am looking for some land to hunt in Missouri because I'm heading up there to school in the spring and would like to turkey hunt some.

Are there any areas to hunt around Springfield? For turkey specifically....

And come someone fill me in on if I can get a "resident" hunting license if I'm in school there, or how long it takes to become eligible to get one.

Thanks for the help.
