I know Park Rapids is excellant area for deer--can run into some rough weather sometimes--gun season opens the first Sat of Nov runs for about 2 weeks--Wi opens a little later in NOv and they do have alot of deer---so I haven't helped much ==like any kind of hunting right time right place The best tr0phy area in Mn and Wi is in the Southern parts of the states--nice wide racks--Northern areas get big bucks as well but some are good ole nast swamp bucks!!--go to have fun!1
