Illinois Gun Hunt
 

I have been bidding on an Illinois Muzzleloader hunt, but my question is, do I have to draw for a tag? Is it difficult to draw a tag? How much is it for a nonresident to hunt deer?

I have checked out the Illinois DNR website but really didn't get any questions awnsered. I know in Iowa you have to buy a tag, hunting license and a habitat stamp. Missouri however is just the license, how does Illinois compare on that end as well.

well i didnt get my shotgun permits for this year and usually i get 2 evert year but muzzleloader might be easier to get

i think an out of state tag is around $200 i believe they raised it this year, plus license (temp or year), and habitat stamp. I checked the website and the application for non resident permits will be available in July. if you get your app in quickly you shouldnt have a problem drawing a tag.
