RE: WISCONSIN: food plots?

Beagle001,
I have had a food plot on my farm for the past 5 years even though 65 acres of my farm is planted with beans and corn. I think the key to getting the big ones to use your food plots is location. Mine is in on a ridge with steap thick hills for cover. My choice has been soy beans. Your suposed to rotate beans and corn every other year, but I havent yet. Next year I will have to plant corn. I have takin many trophys off this soy bean food plot with bow ,rifle and black powder. I have watched many deer walk through lush alfalfa fields to get to the beans. Also I do all my planting, spraying with a 4 wheeler. Good luck.
