Ok, how far are you willing to travel, where are you now?

There is an abundance of public land and private land open to the public. Information on that is avialible through the DNR.

Yeah what area are you in? I have a few spots close to Milwaukee that I hunt quite a bit during the week! Northern Kettle Moraine!!!!! 50 minutes from my door to my parking before I hit my stand! Beautiful Public land close to town!

Being a gunsmith, I would think that you would be able to talk with many hunters. If I were you, I would pick the brains of the hunters that come to you for service.Who knows, maybe you can get some access to private land.Being a gunsmith, you should be able to scratch peoples backs if they scratch yours.:)
