congrats man...was gonna put in for the area near my ole mans place but not wanting to take time off and saving it for terminal leave I didnt....regretting it now..oh well....go getem!!! Wish I could check and see if the ole man and my bros got one though...gonna have to drop them a line tomorrow....btw which area and time are you gettin drawn as a non resident so much? Just curious...we were getting drawn pretty regularly on fishing opener weekend down by houston-rushford area...oh the memorys! Went and met the wifes family...drove right through Houston..man I couldnt believe....grew up chasin birds in that country and met my wife here in AK LOL!

I still have residency in Minnesota, so I get to apply as a resident. My family also owns enough land to have us apply as landowners.

well dang LOL..my ole man has enuf land for the land owner permit also....but being an Ak resident figured its just cheaper to pay the 75 plus the stamp then try to fork out 325 for a bou tag (x2) 425 for moose, 225 for blackies, ya..much much better LOL....

We put in as a group and after checking the website lottery results...it looks as if we'll be waiting for next year. Maybe next time.

I got one too. My 13 year old daughter didn't get drawn though. She's bumming right now. We'll see what's left for her with the unclaimed permits here in a month or so.

Congrats to you. Where are you hunting? I'll be hunting 418 in central MN.
