IL shed update
 

Haven't found any sheds yet, but my friend got a buck during the last week of archery season that had shed both antlers. Both were bloody stumps, so they had just been shed.
Near work, there was a car accident that took out a buck. He already had shed one that was scabbed over, and the other was just lost.
Go get 'em before the rodents do.
Both places are in N/E IL

Had 12 deer pass in front of me this afternoon around 2. 6 bucks that still had antlers. A couple of real wall hangers. I haven't heard of anyone finding any sheds around here in Montgomery county.

Went out this weekend and didn't find any. Did happen to see a young 6 or 7 ptr.

yesterday saw a deer rite at about dark. had one antler fer sure not sure about the other. was broadside 2 me

went out twice this weekend on two different properties and didnt find a thing; saw a small 6-8 pt that still had both sides of his rack. i thought for sure by mid february most if not all bucks would have shed, especially conssidering the 2 wks of very cold weather we had at the end of january.

I live very close to the Miss. river on the Ill./Iowa border-northen part & am privy to watching deer from my home on a daily basis. they winter & feed In My yard-approx. 30 Does & at least 8 different Bucks. Watched a 8 point this AM & a 10 & 8 2 days ago, still with everything in tact.. This pic is 10 feet from my DOOR next to my bird feeder & discarded Christmas Tree 2 days ago.
