Anyone have any good leads for a nice place for me and my brother to take our boys fishing up in N. Wisconsin? We are looking to go July/Aug somewhere maybe around Otter Lake.

Prices I've found have been pretty stiff. Especially considering the cabins and lodging looked pretty shabby. Any leads would really be appreciated.

I have a cabin about 10 minutes from otter lake. we pass it on the way. i would not recommend fishing otter lake though. i have fished there all day with my dad and grandpa and didn't get so much as a bite. i would prefer to fish on Enterprise Lake. that has been a very productive lake for us. we have caught pike, walleye, perch, panfish, and there are muskies too. i had one follow a spoon to the edge of the boat last fall. pretty lake, not too much pressure and there is a place to rent cabins on it. we have never been in the cabins for obvious reasons, but check it out. just to make sure, we are talking about the otter lake near elcho right? there are so many lakes with the same name these days. hope this helps and good luck fishing!!
