well my gun season in ohio didnt go as well as i had planned. no buck, but i got meat for the freezer. shot a doe friday about 4:45 in the afternoon. hit her in the neck and she was down in her tracks didnt even move. the second i killed on saturday morning about 8:30 am shot her head on in the cheat and split her heart in two. both shot great for the meat part because nothing went into ribs or anything, so i should get some very good meat. both dressed about 160 # or better. here is a link with a pic. looks a little far away but if i stood beside them you could see how big they are but i didnt.

Congrats... nothing wrong with shooting doe's. I never found a good recipe for antlers anyway.
