They are still rutting in MI!!! Anyone else think so?
 

This morning when my wife was taking the horses out, she saw the big 10pt. chasing a doe through the pasture toward the woods. This was about 10:30. By the way she described it, it was obvious rut behavior. She said that the big buck was oblivious to everything around him (she was within 50 yards of him as he passed right by) and looked like a bird dog, not a deer following the doe. I imagine this should end soon, but are the rest of you Michiganders experiencing the rut still going on?

Can' t speak to Michigan, but as of Wednesday, they were still rutting in WI. Found 3 new scrapes in the fresh snow.

I' d say the second rut should be kicking in pretty soon. At least by the end of the first week of December. I' ll be out there callin'
