day 6 & final day for gun week. had some guys pushing & heard about 8 shots total . did'nt see a deer all day hunted until about 1 pm . let's see what total numbers are for full gun week. waiting for extended gun season dec 19 & 20

well ohio gun week numbers are in state wide kill was 71,650 compared to last years gun week of 63567. that is a total of 8083 more deer. lorain county killed 745 this year & 630 deer last year a total of 115 more this year.

well i read that in delaware county somebody shot & killed one of his hunting partners.thinking it was a deer. such a tragic death. my question is how did he not identify his target before he pulled the trigger. you can not pull back regret.

Be sure of your target and what's beyond.

Very sad situation. I believe it was a father and son. And the son did not have hunter orange on.

so sad it happened . still you should identify your target. how do you live with yourself. especially if it was your son. still no excuse not to wear a hunters orange vest . can buy them for under 10 dollars. good ones up to 75 dollars. this year i seen 5 guys on our private property with out any orange. ripped them a new a hole .tried calling a warden out but got no responce.

I'm going to try to get out there Saturday Tom. But it depends on what happens with the schedule at work. We're extremely short right now so I could end up on a double Friday night. They've even talked about taking away PTO.

Right now I'm planning on coming out at least for a good part of the day Saturday though. I won't know for sure until Friday afternoon.

I'll give you a call then.
