Does anyone know where I can take hunter safety education course online?

I am trying to find a way of how I can take my hunter course online. I tried looking for enrollment online and unfortunately, Cuyahoga County Ohio is all full for enrollment and I live in Cuyahoga. Anyone know of anywhere I can sign up or enroll to take an online course? What else is expected after I complete this course? Do I have to meet up with someone and learn how to fire gun or something? I plan on hunting small game and all I plan to use is an air pistol. Not sure what all I have to go through before I can obtain my hunting license. This is the site I tried to enroll with. https://www1.oh.wildlifelicense.com/training_map.php

See if they have any courses open for next month or further out or in a nearby county. I checked Ohio's map and it shows Lorain County (next to yours) has 7 classes still listed as open. You'll have to do some of this homework and yes, game agency websites aren't always the most user friendly.

I deleted your same topic/post in the other forum as duplicate topics/posts are a violation of the rules.

You can take the course online and then only have to show up one time for 3-4 hours for the final tests. See link below for the requirement you have to meet and follow:

Crossman, you can take Pennsylvania's course entirely online.

There's a fee that you must pay... maybe around $20 if I remember correctly, then you can print off a verification certificate and they will mail you out a card to your adress. It takes several weeks to get the card. But the certification is all you need.

All first-time hunting license buyers, except apprentice license buyers, must successfully complete a hunter education course before purchasing a hunting license. The hunting course is designed to instill a code of ethics and responsibility, as well as provide instruction on guns and how they work, types of ammunition, gun handling, field care of game, wildlife identification, wildlife management, hunting regulations, and other topics. Statistics show that hunter education has helped reduce the number of hunting related injuries and incidents.
The trapper education course, taken after successful completion of a hunter education course, covers trap set making, trapping equipment, pelt preparation, furbearer life history, identification, and management. These courses provide an opportunity for adults to introduce a young person to hunting and trapping and to share the excitement that goes with it.
Anyone applying for a hunting license, except an apprentice license, is required to successfully complete a hunter education course. Applicants must do one of the following:
Present a previously held hunting license.
Present evidence of having successfully completed a hunter education course (from any state).
Swear he or she is 21 years of age or older and previously held a legal hunting license (from any state).

And copied form the Ohio website. So this course is acceptable. I believe it took about twelve hours for the person I know that did this one to complete it. It includes videos and things like that. Hope this helps out.
