Hi there! Is the ford explorer good as a hunting rig in MN? Thanks in advance!!!

I use a Ford Expedition as my hunting vehicle in Illinois. Used an explorer for a few years too. Best thing to do is read online reviews for storage space and driving through mud/snow. Personally, I like my Blazer a little better for being in the mud but didn't have that bad of results with the explorer. I love the expedition because of all the storage capacity.

you couldn't pay me to drive an "exploder" as a hunting rig. i'll take my lifted tacoma every time.

Depends on the year of the Explorer. There are some bad ones out there.

I would take any ford over any japtrap toyota. that said I am not a big fan of explorers. they are an o.k. womens vehicle but if you want a manly ,tough ride go with a truck.
