Want to lease land in Wisconsin
 

Hi everone, I am looking to lease a small area 30-50 acres in Wisconsin close to the MN border to deer hunt. My father and myself would be the only hunters on the property. If interested my E-mail is [email protected]

I agree with Muzzy, Craigslist is your best best. If you are in the area, the rural radio seems to have some but you have to be quick to act. We picked up a real good 35 acres spot in Central illinois for $12 an acre. My buddy just got lucky and heard it and called the guy and went over with cash so it if it looked good he would pay him on the spot...and he did.

You might check out the Wisconsin DNR hunting land maps for some spots. There are plots of Forest Crop Land and Manage Forest Land open to Wisconsin hunters throughout the state you may be able to find some spots you can hunt. Sometimes you still need land owner permission though, even if it's FCL or MFL - check the regs.
