Have you guys had much luck with Turnips in food plots? We have had great luck growing them, but the deer will not even touch them?? We are in Adams County and another farm is in Schuyler County...we have lots of Corn and beans obviously but wondering about some smaller plots with oats etc, (which need to get in this week)
Any suggestions for late season plots or should we try the turnips one more time...just wondering what works for you guys???
thanks!

Hey, we have planted turnips almost every year for 4 years at our farm in NE schuyler county and the deer don't use them for us until late winter. They eat our wheat and rye but by far the best for us has been leave beans or corn standing ? I have 1 acre of corn fenced off this year with an electric fence and wont take it down till November.. Where is schuyler are you guys ?

I've just stuck with clover and leaving some corn and beans up. Usually an acres of beans and corn as well as 5 small food plots of clover. When it snows, they love the clover. In the fall and winter the beans and corn seem to be hit every day.
