Don't think anyone said anything about being the elite bow hunter. cut the tags ,I don't care if they are gun tags or bow tags. .The population is way down in a lot of the counties from the EHD/AND CWD..limit the number of deer taken in those counties. Doesn't seem to difficult to understand

I think hunters in my area are their own worst enemy, there are no limit to the amount of tags you can get.You are limited to 2 bucks but you can just keep getting over the counter doe tags for gun or bow.Add to that the DNR sharpshooting in most of the area parks and it could spell disaster.

I have a problem with people telling me what I should do on my property. If you do not see deer don’t shoot the few you see, if you see a lot shoot away. People paying big money to guys leasing ground has changed hunting in Illinois for the bad. It used to be if you let guys hunt your land you could hunt theirs now it’s all for the all mighty dollar.
This whole situation is people whining because they make money off of my property (and every other citizen of the state of Illinois) the deer, and now they do not make as much so everyone has to change so they can continue to make money off of my resources. I am sorry, but see the writing on the wall change jobs if the resources are drying up (the people of the state of Illinois deer herd) change or adjust, just do not expect me to, for your gain. |
